NJ Boating Areas Closed Due to “Safety Concerns”
Posted on May 17, 2012 by cw-adminFederal authorities have deemed two popular boating areas “off limits” for what they say are “unsafe activities.” F-Cove and T-Cove of the Barnegat Bay area have been sealed off with barrels to prevent boaters from entering. According to the Asbury Park Press, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services decided to close the coves after seeing boaters partying in the area. “Law enforcement officers have observed alcohol, drug-use and other unsafe activities taking place in the area.” Because the areas are part of the Edwin B....
