Atlantic City runs its own municipal court from the city public safety building at 2715 Atlantic Avenue. At this level in the New Jersey Judicial system, this municipal court has jurisdiction over New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicle violations and DWI and DUI offenses. This municipal level court will also hear criminal charges when it pertains to violation of an Atlantic City ordinance.
