Kate Carballo is a Senior Associate and a trial attorney with Davis, Saperstein & Salomon P.C. She devotes her practice to representing personal injury victims injured in a motor vehicle or slip/trip and fall accidents. She is admitted to practice before the state courts of New Jersey and New York, as well as New Jersey District Courts and the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York.
Kate completed her undergraduate studies at The George Washington University’s prestigious Elliott School of International where she received her B.A. in international affairs with a concentration in international political economy. She subsequently earned her J.D. law degree from the St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, FL. While attending law school, Kate was an active member and mentor of the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review, recipient of the Dean’s List award, and served on the executive board of the Phi Alpha Delta Academic Fraternity.
She enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering for the Wills for Heroes Foundation by preparing wills and related documents for New Jersey’s First Responders; and participating in the Bergen County’s Vincent J. Apruzzese High School Mock Trial Competitions.
In 2017, she represented a 32 year old musician that was injured in a car accident that resulted in him suffering herniated discs in his neck and back. Refusing to accept a $6,000 offer made by AllState Insurance, she tried the case before a jury that awarded a verdict of $795,000.
Kate is also an active member of the Bergen County Bar Association, New Jersey Association for Justice and American Association for Justice. She is fluent in Russian and is currently residing in Park Ridge, NJ with her family. Kate Carballo fluently reads, writes, and speaks Russian.
